My Name is Lenora.
I was raised on Staten Island, and from a very young age, I was surrounded by people who found great joy in making memories through taking pictures. Both my stepfather and grandfather shared the hobby, and to this day, my dad freelances for some of New York City’s largest daily newspapers, including Newsday, the Daily News, the New York Post, and Citywide Network News.

As a little girl, I was seldom without my “side-kick,” a Fisher Price camera, In my teens, I spent my hard-earned allowance on disposable  cameras. My friends would practice silly poses, laughing and giggling as I snapped away, and my childhood stuffed animals made great subjects when the weather was grey and we got stuck indoors.
When I turned 10 years-old, I received my first digital camera. A few years later, I upgraded to some better equipment. As I learned the technology and honed my skills, I continued taking pictures for people, shooting mostly children and my pets.

Photography is now my full-time passion, and has been since 2009. When I’m not working for my clients, I find great joy in exploring Staten Island’s parks and recreational spaces, photographing wildlife and whatever else catches my eyes. (Staten Island is full of interesting places to shoot!) I currently use Nikon equipment – some of the best technology currently available – and have lighting, props, and other things that are portable and easy for me to take with me on shoots.
Maybe it’s because I grew up around a lot of children, but capturing kids’ most special moments is something I never tire of. I love what I do, and am happy to share that passion with my clients.
Photography is something that is carefully perfected with patience, passion, and pure love. And I believe my work encompasses all of this!

I am available for: Maternity, Lifestyle Newborn, Birthday, Special events, Holidays, and Family portraits. A large portion of my work is via referrals.
